Rhiannon’s excitement and Jack’s dread for Fun Walk No. 3!

This will be our third Fun Walk in memory of my brilliant Dad, Steve, and beautiful Nan, Ann. 

Nan was the first to receive support through St Christopher’s as she attended gym sessions there for support her with COPD. She always said how lovely and welcoming the staff were but her highlight was the onsite cafe which she’d pop into after her session. 

Unfortunately Dad was diagnosed with terminal  stage 4 Glioblastoma on the 2nd January 2024  (after a few weeks of loosing his mobility). St Christopher’s were there to support him, mum, myself and my sister through this very sudden and painful time. They were able to advise us whenever we were worried on the best way to care for him and helped make him as comfortable as possible. Dad passed on 4th March 2024 after putting up such a brave fight. I’m so thankful that we were able to have Dad at home and make the most of his final months with St Christopher’s help.
