Why I'm supporting St Christopher's
In 2023, my mother spent the last days of her life at St. Christopher's. I am very grateful for the excellent care she received and St. Christopher's are very close to my heart. They provide excellent care, however they do need funding as only one third of their funds come from government. I want to raise vital funds for them and that's why I am doing this epic Sahara Trek - it will be challenging but I know it will all be worth it!

Saturday 4th Jul Well, can't believe it, only just over 4 months to go! It still doesn't feel real, but I have been starting to train. One of the benefits of the recent hot weather is the conditions are great training for desert trekking! I have also recently had a lovely trip to Snowdonia and climbed Mount Snowden - all useful practice! I am trying to gradually increase my walks to the point where I can walk maybe 6-7 hours as that will be what is needed for the trekking. I still have a long way to go. But hopefully I can get to the fitness needed for the Sahara trek! I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for your support, it's greatly appreciated.Thank you to my Sponsors
