Cycling Palace to Palace for St Christopher's
In September I'll be taking part in St Christopher's Palace to Palace bike ride in memory of Steve Hartigan, a very dear friend of mine. Steve, who was a member of the London Fire Brigade and a true hero put up an extraordinarily courageous battle against Oesophageal cancer. Steve fought with grit, determination, and bravery. The fight Steve showed was nothing short of incredible, he refused to give up - his mentality, courage and spirit were beyond inspiring.
St Christopher’s Hospice exists to promote and provide skilled and compassionate palliative care of the highest quality.
Their vision is of a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to appropriate care and support, when they need it, wherever they need it and whoever they are.
They rely on the generosity of their community, through fundraising campaigns like this, to continue providing our specialist palliative care and familiy care services free of charge.
