Tell everyone why you're walking...
Fun Walk is St Christopher's biggest fundraising event of the year.
2025's event was attended by over 2,500 walkers and raised over a whopping £220,000!
With live music, entertainment, street food and vintage shopping, come join the festival feeling on Keston Common on 10th May 2026!
I'll be there, walking for my local hospice. Sponsor me and help to provide expert end of life care to people in South London.
Thank you.

The Walk
Monday 11th May My first impression of the St Christophers Fun walk as a participant is that it is so well run. It is like a well-oiled machine with 100s of moving parts working in complete harmony. From the voluneers at the shuttle bus stops chatting to everyone, the shuttle bus drivers, registration staff, T-shirt sellers, face painters, bubble blowers, zumba warm uppers, stall holders, marshalls, cadets, ambulance crew and sweet giver outers. It blew my mind.
99% of those people are giving their time for free to this most deserving of causes.
On the bus, we were all chatting, learning about how the hospice had made so many people comfortable and peaceful as life slipped away. It means people can focus on cherished memories rather than images of a traumatic ending.
That is such an underestimated gift to the dying, and the family and friends left behind.
My families journey with the hospice is only just begining as my dad has been introduced to the wonderdul Deborah on the palliative care team. Already we cant imagine not having access to the service. Having someone available 24/7 to deal with concerns about symptoms or pain is quite simply amazing as before it was repeat trips to A&E every few weeks which is just too exhausting for elderly people.
Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored me. It means so much knowing you care about our personal journey but please know, you are doing a truly great thing for so many others too. Share
