Tell everyone why your walking...
St Christopher’s hospice is a place like no other. Both my wonderful father in law and mother in law were looked after here. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were so so kind and the gardens so tranquil. The team there made the worst days as bearable as possible with just a hundred little things that softened the edges. It’s crazy to think such an important part of one’s care is not covered by the NHS.
A walk is the least I can do for the support, time and dignity our loved ones and family were afforded at the most difficult times. And my sister is being dragged along with the promise of a pint at the end to keep me company!!
Fun Walk is St Christopher's biggest fundraising event of the year.
2025's event was attended by over 2,500 walkers and raised over a whopping £220,000!
With live music, entertainment, street food and vintage shopping, come join the festival feeling on Keston Common on 10th May 2026!
I'll be there, walking for my local hospice. Sponsor me and help to provide expert end of life care
