Why I'm supporting St Christopher's

We’re supporting St Christopher’s Hospice in memory of my late wife (and Alex’s mum) Angela Ingrey.
The compassion and care that Angela received from St Christopher’s in her final weeks was simply outstanding. Not only did they know what Angela needed in order to cope with the inevitable, but they were there for Alex & myself and knew what we needed too.
It is no understatement, to say that to us they were the 4th Emergency service, when we needed them, any time of day or night, 7 days a week, they were there with caring human voice on the end of the phone, coupled with almost immediate response and action. They made the unbearable, bearable.
The likelihood is that you or someone close to you will need Hospice care at some point in your life and St Christopher’s Hospice exists to promote and provide skilled and compassionate palliative care of the highest quality.
Their vision is of a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to appropriate care and support, when they need it, wherever they need it and whoever they are.
They rely on the generosity of their community, through fundraising campaigns like this, to continue providing our specialist palliative care and familiy care services free of charge.
Thank you for your support, you know Angela would have approved!!!.
