St Christopher’s is a great hospice!
Fun Walk is St Christopher's biggest fundraising event of the year.
2024's event was attended by over 2000 walkers and raised over a whopping £206,000!
I loved doing the walk last year with a friend I made called Valerie. This year I did 3 miles with my mum and then 5.5 miles solo. I wrote a message on the memory tree for my dad, who had hospice care at home and was supported by the charity. My mum has also been supported by them after he died and she received her own cancer diagnosis. Now cancer free, she enjoyed our 3 miles and it was a great day. I even held a snake afterwards - sssssuper.
Access to hospice care and respectful, person focused end of life care if and when we need it is a right we all have. Do sponsor me if you can! Thanks.
