Fun Walk is St Christopher's biggest fundraising event of the year.
2024's event was attended by over 2000 walkers and raised over a whopping £206,000!
With live music, entertainment, street food and vintage shopping, come join the festival feeling on Keston Common on 11th May 2025!

In memory of my mum
Thursday 1st May Last year my mum was still with us when I walked. She passed away the following month on June 15th.Throughout my mums 13 month journey with cancer, St Christopher's treated her and us with warmth, dignity and care.
We'd visit the hospice as a family for lunch and then my mum would get her nails painted there, or have a shower, and we all enjoyed our visits, always feeling welcomed with smiles. The hospice was somewhere we looked forward to visiting.
As mum became too weak to travel, the hospice would send transport for her and the drivers would always have lots of banter to cheer her up on the journey.
Nurses came out whenever we felt we needed, and were there with a hug when I spoke separately with them about my mums deteriorating condition.
They were open and honest and guided me through my mums last days.
Mum's wish was to pass away at home, and she did, pain free surrounded by family.
I will forever be grateful to St Christopher's staff and volunteers and want to continue helping raise funds so that others can benefit from the amazing care the hospice offers. This year I will be walking 5miles with my daughter Laura.
