Why I'm supporting St Christopher's

Hi! I’m Lucy, Community and Events Fundraiser for St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham. Usually, my job is to help people do amazing things for our charity from behind the safety of my desk, but in November 2026, I’m going out to Morocco to Trek the Sahara alongside our brilliant fundraisers. We’re trekking 50km across sand dunes and dried plains, sleeping under the stars and eating local food. But believe me when I say it’ll be a challenge! It’s going to be hot, there’s going to be sand, and I won’t even mention the toilet situation! But it’s all for an important cause. So, if you can spare a few pounds, please consider donating. Thank you.
St Christopher’s Hospice exists to promote and provide skilled and compassionate palliative care of the highest quality.
Their vision is of a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to appropriate care and support, when they need it, wherever they need it and whoever they are.
They rely on the generosity of their community, through fundraising campaigns like this, to continue providing our specialist palliative care and familiy care services free of charge.
Thank you for your support.
